Newt Gingrich didn't have an affair because he wanted to have an affair with a woman he thought was hot. Instead, his "explanation" was this statement:

"There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate."

Let's all just pause for a moment here and marvel at the balls (and utter lack of self-accountability) it takes to say something like that. See, it wasn't his fault he had an affair, it was because he was working too hard and loved his country too much

Yup, what a great President this guy would make.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.
