Ingredients
8 pieces of Chicken Lollipops drumsticks with the meat pulled down to one end. Want to impress your friends turn these in to mini lollipop chicken wing drumsticks.. they go great on hockey night football night or just a plain old lets eat to our hearts content while watching movies and drinking some cold ones...
1/2 cup Maida
1/4 cup Corn Flour
1/2 spoon Ginger Paste
1/2 spoon Garlic Paste
1/2 cup Coriander leaves
1 Spoon Red chili powder
1/4 spoon Turmeric powder
1/4 spoon Garam Masala
1 Egg
A pinch of Edible Red Colour < optional but it really makes it look good.
Salt to taste
Oil
Method
Marinate the lollipops with salt, ginger and garlic paste and keep for 5 minutes
Add finely chopped coriander leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, red colour, maida and corn flour then mix well
now Add the egg and again mix well
put in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours or overnight as you wish.
Now when ready to cook you need a large pan at least 4 inches of oil to fry your chicken lollipops
Pre Heat oil in a pan and fry the lollipops on medium heat turn as needed. Use tongs to keep the hot oil from burning your fingers That hot oil can splash when trying to turn them with a fork. (ouch my poor knuckles)
Notes
You can add a pinch of curry powder to get a different taste.
If you wish you can wrap the bony side of the lollipop with aluminum foil for the part of presentation and to grip when eating.
