A Possibly True Story
DS is backed up from time to time on the server, then the backups are downloaded and stored on multiple external drives. The drives are (no lie) rotated in and out of an actual bank vault. That bank vault would survive most catastrophes and would probably preserve the backups for a long, long time.
So there's a good chance that someday in the far future, thousands of years from now, sociological anthropologists will find the data archive and eventually come to this particular thread...they'll analyze and study it for clues to our history, our world, and our lives. Because this is such an epic thread it will, no doubt, end up in a Special Data Museum vault on a distant world where only the most valuable and rare treasures are stored under heavy, planetary-level security.
Deep inside that hardened, secure, tightly guarded museum vault, about 60 floors below ground level, will be a small alcove with a tiny spotlight. The spotlight shines night and day on a simple, velvet-covered shelf. And on that shelf will be this thread, stored in a small, clear plastic memory chip labeled "LAST WORD".
