If I'm looking at the same manual that you are PC...then on page 17 it has a "note" section which says the following:
1. To play the digital images and sounds of DVD video or DVD audio via and HDMI connection, it is necessary that both the player and display device support a copyright protection system called HDCP.
2. HDCP is copy protection technology that comprises data encryption and authentication of the partner equipment.
3. HDMI audio output works only if the digital output for the sound is set at the PCM option.
From my understanding...to show the video part of the Karaoke, you'll need
1. HDMI connectors and
2. HDCP on both TV and Player [A href="vny!://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-bandwidth_Digital_Content_Protection"]vny!://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-bandwidth_Digital_Content_Protection[/A]
It then goes into Karaoke Operation...[/DIV]
