American film actor.

 Julius Briner, or Yul Brynner as he prefered to be called was one of the most favorite 20th century actors.  Only after his death, did we learn some details about the life and times of Julius Briner throught the biography written by his son. It is beleived that Briner was born on Sakhalin Island in 1915, its Swiss-Japanese blood and at birth received the name of Taji Khan.  In fact, his father was a Swiss engineer Boris Briner, mother - the daughter of Russian doctors of Marusya Blagovidova, they lived in Vladivostok, where he appeared in 1920 (the date and at the tomb of an actor) to light Yul, named after the grandfather of Jules Briner.  Oriental features in the guise of mother-father - Mongol.  The father moved the family, the mother took Youla and his sister Vera to Harbin, and then to Paris.  There he became a musician instead of studying, playing guitar in nightclubs, which were run by Russian gypsies.
