Maine coons are very impressive cats.  That one is a beauty.

I thought that the first cat was actually yours pc. I was thinking holy crap.

My cat has started getting bigger but still isnt anywhere near what I would call fat.

Im so sorry sportsdude. You have my deepest sympathies, no matter what people say about it only being an animal, its a member of your family.

I have to ask but are you sure its a coyote? Reason why is we had coons move into our area and soon afterwards alot of cats started disappearing, including our Mini. Myself and a few others complained to teh city about it. Nothing. So soon afterwards a number of them mysteriously disappeared. I dont know what happened.

Again Im sorry. But I dont quite agree with kitten where its always better to know.

No it had to have been a coyote. We only found the front part of her. She was severed and her face was smashed in (according to dad, I didn't want to look).

All I meant is that when your pet disappears you spend a long time searching for it and worrying.  There is closure of a sort when you finally know what has happened, even when the news is hard to handle.

Coyotes are very prominant in our area. And my house is in between this ridge. So late at night while Angel was probably swatting a bugs the coyotes just walked by and took her.

His facial markings make him look like a very wise animal, as I'm sure he is.

He's a clever boy.  You can get a sense of how 'tall' he is in relationship to the height of the pick-up.

Beautiful cat PC! I love cats that have markings and designs like that. Our first cat had that. Our current cat Chloe is black, and whoa is you if you walk by her and not notice, she'll swat your leg as you pass.

Thanks for the reply Sportsdude, and sorry to bring it up and make you think of it.

I can see your point kitten.. and yeah I agree. When our cat was taken, we didnt give him up for dead for months and kept wondering, posted signs on every pole we could find in the area.
