[font face="Verdana"]Prepare to be awed by Odd Day!

For the mathematically challenged, Thursday's date, 5/7/09, is one of only six this century that will feature three consecutive odd numbers.

Numbers lovers say the rare occurrence is an excuse to celebrate.

"The previous stretch of six dates like this started with 1/3/1905" said Ron Gordon, the Redwood City teacher who enthusiastically promotes these numerical holidays, like Square Root Day on 3/3/09.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Yeayyyyy !  Odd Day.  My favourite.  Today I am going to have 1 cup of coffee...I'm going to cut my grapefruit in 3 and have 5 ounces of yogurt.  I'm going to zip to Home Depot around 11 to pick up 9 more 2x4's (which are technically 1 and a half X 3 and a half).  I'll head home around 3 and have dinner prepped by 5.

Then the 9th of Sept this year should be a national holiday!

lol True JJ.  But I'm sure there must be another special name for that kind of day.
