Oh....and being as I have disqualified myself, I'll take the liberty of offering a few pointers.

  Start out with the first part of the riddle on its own.
Sir Isaac Newton invented the swinging door....for the convenience of his cat.

Let's just say...the answer could be realized by the first part only....but will be supported (or not) by the second part.
