Sounds....um....delish Michel.  I don't see recipe swapping in our future.

I prefer mine plain, although I have been known to have mustard on them now and then.
A fool's paradise is better than none.

Had a Costco dog + Fresca for lunch.  Ketchup, sauerkraut and more ketchup on the dog.

Toast the bun first.

Add shredded cheese and salsa.

That almost sounds like a pizza dog.  I think Orange Julius used to have those many years ago.  I don't know if they still do.  Hmmm...now that I think about it...I don't even know if Orange Julius is still around.

Orange Julius is still around and sell hot dogs but I've never had their hot dogs before.

Costco down in the States have really good hot dogs, better tasting than Canada, imo AND cheaper!  (by 50 cents)

I've only had hotdogs from Costco a couple times....and they were pretty yucky.

I loved the Orange Julius pizza dog when I was a kid.
Steamed hot dog with  tomato sauce, mozza cheese + Italian spices.

It was part of my Saturday.  I'd belch hotdog all afternoon while riding around in the car with the family, CHQM easy listening on the radio.  I'm feeling slightly carslick just thinking about it.

I had a hot dog from Costco just now with only sauerkraut.  I haven't had one in a long time and all this talk about toppings and hot dogs made me want it even more.

Maybe I'll have my original lunch later.
