Yup, it's that zany time of the year again. Free admission to the PNE on August 16th, from 9am to 12 noonie.

  The Fair at the PNE Opens Saturday The Fair at the PNE opens this Saturday with FREE gate admission from 9am to 12noon on Saturday, August 16! Come early for the Charity Pancake Breakfast from 9am-11am (minimum $3 donation in support of The Canada Safeway Foundation). Then catch special opening day performances from the [A href="http://www.pne.ca/thefair/live_shows_exhibits/live_shows/wheels-of-steel.htm"]Wheels of Steel[/A] at 10:30am and the [A href="http://www.pne.ca/thefair/live_shows_exhibits/live_shows/superdogs.htm"]Superdogs[/A] at 11am.

Yes, I heard that. I imagine it changed a lot over the years since my folks used to bring us when we were kids.

I think it is the crowds that has kept me away. I still want to go one of these years. Maybe sometime when family comes in from out of town or something?
