I could be wrong, but aren't there more pressing issues to be dealt with
?? I'm sure the only people affected by a sign advertising a cigar are the people who smoke cigars. They could put up giant billboards from here to the east coast, and I would still never smoke a cigar. Now if they were only as diligent in other areas, we'd get some valuable things accomplished by the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
The only thing holding back a full out ban on tobacco is the huge loss of tax revenue.....so they need to either suck it up and just DO IT, or stop spending
more money trying to figure out ways to keep smokers hooked, while at the same time eliminating all places for that to happen.....a fine balance....lol They might want to start working on what they can tax next to make up the loss. Air tax ? Their new slogan......"We cleaned up the air for you....now somebody gonna pay". And while they have whipped everyone into a frenzy over the issue.....we'd all think it's a GREAT idea to pay for the air we breathe.
