Hmm when I was working alone for 4 years I developed this relationship with a radio programme on BBC World Service. When this guy who does the "World Today" from 4am-5am (2am pt to 3am) the rest of the morning was a downer for me. Missed the 'steady voice in the night'. When I didn't have the greatest outlook on life, that programme was a life saver.
