Do you know how to make real pea soup Michel? I knew a person at university that was from Quebec and I tried some of her pea soup and it kicked on any other type I tried.

Van...I make real pea soup....and...well....I don't like to brag, but I have made converts of many pea soup haters. Hub being one of them.  Also our neighbour who was at dinner once...his wife said to me...oh oh.....'John' hates pea soup.  So I served it anyways and watched him take his first spoonful....when he asked what it was while mmmmmm'ing, we told him it was Miso soup and he devoured it in record time and told his wife to get the recipe.

lol can someone be tasteblind just like some people are colourblind

YES.....I assure you he has never heard of Miso....so it was a safe call.  This is a man who can't make toast and needs help peeling an orange.

I picked Miso, because it was a safe bet he had never heard of it....and he hadn't.  It wasn't anything to do with the taste.
