Has anyone's cat ever had a cold ?  My guy gets them a couple times a year.  He'll sneeze up to 20 times in a row.  He has one now and it must be making him feel really miserable because he's hissing and growling in his sleep.

Anyone know if there's anything that can be done for them ?

a nice catnap?
in a catacomb?
might reduce the catarrh.

Hahahaaaa.

Poor little man.  And strangely enough, he wants to be out all night.  Maybe it's too hot in here for him.

I could be wrong only because I read this many years ago and maybe it is now incorrect but, cats do not get colds.  Maybe it is something else?  Perhaps a vet check is necessary.  I say this because I am a cat lover and I hope yours is not sick.

Yipes.  Really ?  I hope not.

He goes through this a couple times a year and has so since we've had him (which is about 6 or 7 years I think) but he does recover each time.

Get well, little kitty.

Awww thanks Lil Me.  I'll pass your good wishes along.  (he's doesn't exactly fit into the petit department, but I'm sure he'll appreciate that part too)

I just had my cat to the vet and he has allergies maybe that is your cat's problem?  Mine had scratching and ear problems but I'm sure it would show up in different way for different allergies.

I thought about the possibility of that.  In a warped kind of way, that's almost a little funny.  (not that he's sick...) but with so many people alergic to cats, it would be interesting if he were alergic to people.

I think it's only people who are allergic to people.

Garfield gets sick.
 Therefore, cats must have colds.

That's true.  Cats are just indifferent to people.

tigger got cold last year. I think he got it from the dog.

Poor little man.  He's still sneezing his little face off.

I think I might try a humidifier and a couple hot toddies.
