Maybe it's just me, but if I knew I was losing my job, the last thing I'd be doing is going out shopping. In my opinion, [span class="lingo_region"]Tina Dillow isn't the brightest bulb on the tree . I mean, Hello? You're losing your job. Shouldn't you be, oh, I don't know...saving your money?

[span class="lingo_region"] "I'm really looking for the bargains this year because I'm losing my job; they're moving our plant to Mexico after the first of the year, so I have to be careful," Tina Dillow of New Richmond, Ohio, who camped out at a Best Buy store near Cincinnati at 3 a.m. because of a great deal on a laptop.[/span]

typical mind of an american completely lost in consumerism. She's told herself that if she camps out and shops she'll save by getting those deals that they give out at Best Buy like free tv's and such.
"We can't stop here. This is bat country."

Well unfortunately, this type of excessive consumerism isn't exclusive to Americans.
