There is freedom of speech in the US. You can't put someone in jail because he/she says something. Thank your government for 9/11, it was their job.

A mental patient charged with threatening the life of President  Bush will remain in custody until his trial after a federal magistrate on Monday deemed he was a flight risk and a danger to society.

 Arafat Nijmeh, 26, of Belleville, was arrested by U.S. Secret Service agents on March 21 on two counts of threatening the life of the president.

 He was a patient at the Alton Mental Health Center at the time the threat was made
