I am determined that I shall have some good weather sometime this week. Went to York (super place, not too large, a million things to see and do, cosmpolitan in the ectreme, Roman remains, history onf every side not to mention one's feet : definitely worth a lengthy visit) yesterday and the sun actually shone for a couple of hours. Today I'm devoting myself to doing very little apart from some reading and - oh yes - the celebrations for my hostess's birthday.
