Hmmmm, any Vonage users out there?

The latest in [a href="vny!://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D8OB69KO0.htm"]Verizon vs. Vonage[/a] is in. The judge has basically stopped Vonage from accepting new customers. From the article:

A judge issued an injunction Friday that effectively bars Internet phone carrier Vonage from signing up new customers as punishment for infringing on patents held by Verizon.

Vonage's lawyers said the compromise injunction posted by U.S District Judge Hilton is almost as devastating as an injunction that would have affected Vonage's 2.2 million existing customers.

"It's the difference of cutting off oxygen as opposed to the bullet in the head," Vonage lawyer Roger Warin said.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Wow. I like the idea of vonage but I just cancelled my account yesterday because I never unpacked the box (decided I didn't need a home phone since I have my cell). Got a nice $40 early termination fee. So I have mixed feelings about this news to say the least.
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.
