Raging Poodle!, What is the point in bringing all of Discovervancouver problems over here?
I don't believe I'm bringing DV's problems here, BG. Tonight DS was the only place where I could express myself without having my every message deleted.
For the second time in the past few days I was targeted by a powertripping a**hole admin/mod: No matter what I said, even if I said "cotton candies are fluffy and sweet" it was getting deleted.
As you can imagine it can be a frustrating experience to be put in that position. If you ask for an explanation, no one comes forward. All you see is some coward obsessed with hitting the delete button...
Mind you, I don't play that game for very long. Usually if I see three messages getting deleted in a row, I stop posting.
And that's exactly what I did tonight. However, I also wanted to be able to express myself. That's why I created this thread.
So hope that answers your question.

You can't completely get away from troll and haters. This site allows anonymous posting, so it's quite open to trolling and hateful comments. But yes, it's a somewhat more stable environment in the sense that you don't see the same powertripping and games you see on DV, over here.
> Now I seemed to encounter more and more dv trolls & haters over here on DiscoverSeattle, i was going to post more often, now I'm thinking differently.
Just post what you like and see what happens.

That thread was my answer to haters. Like you, I saw an increase in hate messages so I created that thread to have them confine their comments to one thread alone, instead of having them spread all over the board.

Thanks. I like round numbers. So I'll try to bring yours to the next round number.
> BTW... I think the mods on Discovervancouver are doing a good job because without them DiscoverVancouver would be a lot worse.
For a while I thought the mod team was doing an OK job, but in the past couple of months that place has definitely degenerated. Currently they're playing exactly the same games the previous mod team was playing.
Many people are unhappy.
One of the mods has already quit due to all the strife and disagreements within the team itself.
It's time for the whole team to change. DV is long overdue for an overhaul.
