What do you do when you can't find a normal job? You go into business for yourself. Chinese college grad Ai Baorong couldn't find a job, so she made one up...the [a href="http://spluch.blogspot.com/2007/03/breeding-flies-as-global-business.html"]business of selling flies[/a]. Specifically, housefly maggots.

Baorong breeds houseflies and their maggots. Each maggot contains 60% protein, 15% fat, but also has some vitamins, and its protein nutritional value is several times higher compared to animal protein.The concentrated protein can be used for the production of soy sauce and MSG - a product with great market value.
