  We actually have a phone jack in the garage so thatll CONSTANTLY ring as well as my cell phone.

  It actually sounds like not a bad idea. Thinking about it, my aunt and uncle in PA have that. Its an intercom that you push a button for the area that you want to talk to.. is that the type you have?
