This is not my opinion. This is Bruce Allen's Reality Check (on CKNW):

[span class="date"]Friday, February 9, 2007[/span] [/li][li id="blog"] Anna Nicole Smith molded her life around Marilyn Monroe and now she dies like her idol. You don't have to wait for an autopsy of Anna Nicole's death to know that drugs are involved. There are some other truisms that will emerge in the next few weeks. She was probably broke and if she had a will that we don't know if she does there will not be much to be distributed to her hangers on. The DNA test that she was desperately trying to avoid will probably show that her baby girl was not fathered by her lap dog lawyer, Howard k Stern. The wedding she went through with the aforementioned Stern will prove to be invalid, her son who dies in Nicole Smiths hospital room from a combination of methadone and anti depressant pills was only a precursor to what was going to happen to his mum. But why are we fascinated by a big busted freak who when she posed for playboy in 1996 was 132 pounds and then shot up to 240 pounds only to drop the weight on a Trimspa program that relied heavily on the drug Ephedra which has since been banned. We saw her through her bizarre weight problems, her rehab, her ridiculous marriage to an 89 year old billionaire and the subsequent series of trials to try and get her hands on his fortune. [/p]As of this date she has got nothing and her lawyer for that case has been chasing her for a 1 hundred and thirty thousand dollar fee that he says she had no intention of paying. She was evicted from her rental house in the Bahamas for lack of payment, she was found dead in her room at the Florida Casino where she probably got a free room if she just spent two hours every day in the gambling area, just hanging around for a cheque. [/p]We watched because we love a train wreck and Anna Nicole was a train wreck. A physical freak with no talent, no money and obviously no friends, just hangers on who were trying to bask in the light of reflected celebrity. Now all of those leaches will be on every TV show and in every weekly magazine, trying to squeeze out a couple more minutes of fame, pitiful, but predictable. [/p][/li] [/ul]
