Ok then.  Off to the mountains you go.

Going down to Ladysmith tonight for the city light-up festival.

Oh dear Michel.  (I hate the anti reflection coating..... [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/a143.gif" border=0] )     I have a hard enough time keeping glasses clean, and it seems to magnify every speck and fingerprint a thousand times.  That's just my personal experience though.

Went to the Ladysmith light festival.  I am amazed at the amount of people there !!!!  Holy !  It was lovely....not sensational....just charming and lovely.  I like small town stuff at Christmas....the enthusiasm by the towns people is heartwarming to me.  Of course there were bagpipes, and for some reason that I have yet to figure out, they make me weep. [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/konfus/n020.gif" border=0] Happy weep.....I love them.

Lil Me

lol you guys.

My random "I have nothing interesting...." thought:

I've tried using reading glasses.  Great when I'm sitting down.  When I'm standing up or walking, I feel seasick.  Normal reaction or just me?

I get that feeling too Lil Me when I try to read with my glasses which are only used to see objects far away.

Ah P.C! I so wanted to see the Ladysmith event last year but this was pre-car days and well nobody would take me. :(

Are you reading while you're walking Lil Me ?  PUT THE BOOK DOWN.

I find that with any new prescription, I get that woozy feeling.  It's similar to looking through the thick glass at the aquarium.  I have reading glasses that are useless for anything other than reading....and computer glasses that are useless for reading.  Both of them would have an unpleasant affect if I were to walk around in them.

SD....I wanted to get there last year too, but didn't make it either.  I think it was icy/frosty last year if I remember correctly.  We had the frozen rain going on and driving from here wouldn't have been worth the risk.  I really enjoyed it....very cute and small town.....but fulfilled what I wanted.  There were a ton of little children and to my surprise a ton of teens....and of course every other age group as well.

Its not only you Lil Me.. I get that with my reading glasses as well. When Im sitting for a while I tend to do put them on then forget whne I get up.

Well, My truck is back together front axle wise.. now I finished painting and installing the new bumper! Have to check over my old winch then install that and wire it up. Im thinking of wiring up some bright floodlight as well so I can see when trailrunning at night. I also got a bit ahead of myself and bought a kit to help me make rocksliders for under my rocker panels along the side of my truck.

Im actually just about to head out the door, just finish checking all the new DS threads then Im out for a bit.

You have truck parts that I never knew existed.  Do we regular truck people have rocker panels  and rocksliders ?  [img onclick="selecte('eh.gif');" alt=emoticon src="vny!://www.pushupstairs.com/images/emoticon/blehnet/eh.gif" border=0]
