Nah. They'd kill me.
It's a long running battle within the family. The most of the family says we are German. I say that kind of attitude got us shot and thrown into a mass grave. If you live in a country for over 200 years, you're whatever that country is.

Going down the middle road in Eastern Europe is the best way not to get killed. lol

speaking of getting killed, family still doesn't want me going to Hungarian hang out places, for *scream* The people might know us from way back. omg run for the hills! It's 1945 and there's still a bounty on our heads!

Hmm the coupe was on the 11th, didn't know that.
I don't pay attention to this day anyway, I've avoided it for 6 years because it has turned into a rallying cry for war day by the political operatives in my region. Then if you say anything of actual sanity, you get lambasted with you are either with us or against us spew.

Hmm makes sense, but I think you've got to consider the fractioning of the left with the economic downturn in the 70s which made society more open to the ideas of Thatcher and the beginnings of a globalized economy. Where she and Reagan went 'see they failed you, we have a different way' etc.
