Marik, if you're there, check out this anime. I totally love it. It's mixed up so you'll have to search for episodes 1 to 24. Night Head Genesis.

To be honest, when I saw the intro theme to this song, I thought "this is going to be gay!!!!!"
But damn, this is pretty good, and I've only watched 10 minutes of it! Thanks for the recommendation!
P.S. what's the deal with Reiko? she's always freaking out (episode 4)

There's more to Reiko than meets the eye. The explaination comes several episodes later. I won't spoil it for you but keep watching.

  The two brothers are so close... they're almost like a 'gay' couple. I think the Japanese has a fascination with femine boys and schoolgirls. (If you've ever seen Kenshin or Samurai X, Naoya - younger brother - is the same voice)

  So sad that they've ended it. Wished there's more. There's another anime that I'm looking at, just started the 1st episode and it looks good. I'll send you the link later.

  And you're welcome for the links. I'll keep you posted since you enjoy anime.

  EDIT: You may need to do a search on youtube for the rest of the anime for NIght Head Genesis. It's all there.

Yeah, I was watching this annual end-of-the-year Japanese music program called "Kouhaku Uta Gassen" and some of the groups there (especially WaT) would be considered homo if they walked around in Van.
I don't usually watch that much anime actually... I've just heard a lot of different titles (friends are big on anime), but only watched GTO and Initial D.

Marik, you should also check this one out. It's called Death Note and I'm currently watching this anime on youtube. Just do a search on it.

I'm going to look for this movie. Apparently it came out last year and was a big hit. Now there's talk of a sequel.

  Anyways, give it a go. Wonderful stuff.

Yeah Death Note... I'm not too big on it. I watched it at a friend's house and it wasn't that great. I'm looking for the movie also (it got a good rating on slasherpool). Thanks for the links!

Initial D is one I don't know if you've seen. It's about street racing on mountain passes in Japan. The first season is the best out of all 4. Maybe more of a 'guy' thing though.

Dragonball Z (wouldn't really 'recommend' it since it's so long of a series, it's just something that EVERYONE watched when we were in elementary school). The fighting is the best part of course.

Gundam Wing (for the super nerd... I just remember this was on after Dragonball Z and I liked the theme song) I don't really remember too much about it, but I liked the story, and the dubbing was good.

Hmmm. Those are definitely guy flicks.  I've tried watching DragonBall Z and haven't clued in on why it's so popular. Initial D? Never heard of it but I'll give it a go, see what that's like. Gundam series.... I tried it, wasn't too impressed.

  I guess we do have different taste. I'm more into the Japanese period anime. Prefer ones that have samurai and ninja fights. Also love the supernatural flicks.

Ive watched some Dragon Ball Z.. I dont understand either Lise.. my buddy thats hooked on it is a true 'cultist' or 'ska boy' if you will. Doesnt look the type that would watch that stuff.

I wouldn't say everyone was absolutely hooked on DBZ... it just was something everyone watched because their friends watched it.
On the other hand, Pokemon was something EVERYONE was hooked on. If someone at elementary school said they didn't watch / collect it, they're flat-out lying.

I was lucky and missed that craze. My brother however.. lol. We found a bunch of those pokemon chip things when we were cleaning up last week.

Are they still popular? I see kids sometimes collecting these cards and going to games workshop so they can trade..... unless it's Yugi-Oh cards. Dunno. I get them mixed up.

Yeah Yu-Gi-Oh was a card game some people collected when I was in middle school. I don't know if it's still popular. A lot of people who played Pokemon learned not to buy into card games though, so I guess YGO didn't catch on that well.
