For kids. And boy, they're not cheap. I can remember the time when all I got was $10 for my Christmas gift. Back then we had no gadgets, no iPod, no Xbox. We got a sweater that grandma knitted or a book. Kids today are extremely lucky and spoiled rotten.

The top ten toys for this year are mostly sold out.

At one point, I saw that Elmo TMX in Walmart selling for about $45.  I should've grabbed it and sold it to some ebayer.

Lise

I should have done that too, purelife. It's all sold out now. Trouble is you don't know what the hottest toy is until it's so close to Christmas and everyone's scrambling to get one.

I got the greastest baby gift for my daughter.

The leapfrog learn around playground.  6-36 months.  Amazing.  The computer voice is actually clear as a whistle and very easy to understand.  So many activities good for rolling babies and standers and walkers.

I like those Magnetix for kids.

Lise

Oh yeah, you were saying about those Magnetix thingee too. I bet your kids would love it.

Hey Ally, I actually considered getting Lise Jr. the Leapfrog Learning system, believe it or not. Unfortunately I already got her something else for Christmas so I have to hold off on that but I think I might get one for her next year. Hopefully there's a sale. *fingers crossed*

For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

Ally

I ordered mine online for $43USD through Amazon.com and got it about 5 days later.

I went to order it for a friend of mine and the price has been raised for the Xmas season to $59.99 USD.  Pretty nasty thing to do if you ask me.

I love amazon.com.  I've ordered several things off of there now and they've all come in perfect condition in perfect order.

Hey Ally,

Do you have a link for that? I'm interested in getting one but there's so many LeapFrog stuff out there that I'm not sure what to get. I'm thinking of this one for Lise Jr. Not sure if the image will come up but it's this one that I'm thinking of.
