wow. this is just beyond insane on the teachers/schools part...

BELLMEAD-   A four-year-old hugged his teachers aide and was put into in-school suspension, according to the father.  But La Vega school administrators have a different story.

Damarcus Blackwell's four-year-old son was lining-up to get on the bus after school last month, when he was accused of rubbing his face in the chest of a female employee.

The prinicipal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the Blackwells that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment."

Blackwell says it's ridiculous that the aide would misread a hug from a four-year-old.  Blackwell wrote to administrators demanding that the whole incident be expunged from his son's academic file because his son is too young to know what it means to act sexually.

David Davis, the executive director of the Advocacy Center in Waco tends to agree with Blackwell.  He says assuming the boy has not had sexual encounters, or been inappropriately exposed to pornography, most four-year-olds are sexually innocent.

Blackwell got a response  from the La Vega administration.  The sexual references on the discipline referral were removed.  But the thing that makes Blackwell most upset is they told him "your request for an apology by the aide and removal of all paperwork regarding this incident is denied."  Now the young student's file will refer to the incident as "inappropriate physical contact."  And Blackwell says he will continue to fight the district.

I think I would have a few serious questions for the teacher's aide, that she would interpret that as being sexual.  Who's got the problem here !!!!

Couldn't help but read this and say something.  Last year I worked in a pre-school/after school program in Vancouver and the kiddies were always hugging me hello and good-bye.  If they happen to smush their face into my boobies when I was hugging them back I didn't get into a fit and say they're sexually touching me.

It definitely is the teacher's aide that should be questioned, not the 4-year old child.  It sounds like it happened only once.  She's like twice the height of the child and probably his arms can't reach around her so he's gonna touch or grab something that is sticking out (i.e., boobies).  Would she have done the same "OMG my boobies have been rubbed!" if it had been a 4-year old girl?

OMG. Incredible. A 4 year old wouldn't know the difference. Kids that age are forever wanting to hug or hold hands with you so the aide shouldn't jump to conclusion.
Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry.

The teacher's aide should be suspended indefinitely until she learns the difference between a hug from a pre-schooler and molestation by someone older.  What a stupid reaction, and what a sick mind.

She sounds as though her next career should be that of a professional trouble maker. I wonder who she was in a former life.

The teacher's aide certainly has issues, and so does the La Vega administration which still insists on keeping,  "inappropriate physical contact" in the child's records.  These people show a twisted sense of judgment.  Things like this are why I've always hated authority -- it attracts a disproportionate number of bullies, sadists, and, in positions of authority over children, sexual deviants such as that teacher's aide, her deviancy is acted out in a psychological way, though it still seems to be a variation of pedophilia (was she a victim of abuse?).  4 years old is still practically a baby.  What he experienced is child abuse, subjecting him that kind of deviancy and extremism. In fact, I believe the parents should sue the school for subjecting their child to psychological abuse of a sexual nature.
