Outgoing messages timing out too soon

So you compose this nice message in PM box then hit send. The screen pauses, pauses, and pauses more... you think uh oh. Then bam - you see the ominous Page Can Not be Displayed message.



You try to go back to the previous page - all your message is gone.



Damn.

Im getting that with PM's, and at times with my posts as well. I cut all my messages now, and WHEN it does that I paste it onto the new one.

that used to happen to me when i wrote emails. grrr..but with gmail, it saves pretty regular.

gmail is an online email like hotmail, created by 'google'. it gives you more than twice as much storage space as hotmail so it is pretty useful if you send large files around. currently sitting at 2.7 gigs of storage and counting.

FireFox I don't seem to have the loose messages problem plus on firefox I can copy what I write so if I loose it I can paste it. On IE you can't do that.

Yes we're talking about DS's private messaging system, not GMail, Yahoo, or Hotmail. So let's not get confused.

Now I'm trying to remind myself at least to copy my message to memory before hitting the send button.
