If you could choose to be any famous historical person, who would you be? - And why?
A fool's paradise is better than none.

None of them.

  Because they're history.

I wouldn't choose to be that person simply because if that person did something remarkable (Terry Fox), I couldn't live up to that name or if that person did something really wicked (like Hitler) I wouldn't want to be that person.

  I'd prefer to be myself.
Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry.
Bill Cosby.

I too would prefer to be me.

I don't know if I have a preference to be someone else *I'll have to give it some thought*

But I DO often think of how it might have been living in another time in history....like the early 1900's.

From horse and buggies to cars that park themselves.  From homes without floors or indoor plumbing to heated tiles and steam showers.  The evolution of travel.....men on the moon.  From scratchy old radio programs to having the technology to produce your own entertainment in your home. From old general stores where they had everything they needed that would now fit in one aisle of our 'super stores'.  People born then have SEEN all this.

The list is long, and I think about it often.

I would prefer to be "Hitler" lol I'm just kidding....
Can the historical person be of any time period? If so, I'd prefer to be general suetonius. Boy! he was a great commander, he defeated Queen Boudica....

Did he die in the line of duty defending his Queen? How romantic.

He died defending the Roman Empire, most likely.  He fought against the Queen.

.....perhaps Cleopatra.  It wouldn't be the first time I was called the Queen of deNial

I guess that requires no explanation, kingy.
