Make money off of this place? Lol, if only.........

No, DS doesn't make money, if anythng it costs me by the time all the smoke clears.  It generates a small (very small) amount of revenue when some kind soul clicks on a Google or Yahoo ad, but I doubt I'll ever be able to buy that new steel mill I've been lusting after with the proceeds. In terms of real dollars the DS server costs me $99 a month, the ad revenue comes to about one-tenth of that (sometimes a little more). It hasn't paid for itself yet and I really don't expect it to.

No, I do this one for fun, definitely not for profit, lol. If there was a whole lot of traffic and enough people clicked ads I'd probably break even, but I don't expect that to happen in my lifetime.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Bless me and I'll click on an ad for you.

Way ahead of you Gopher. I've clicked on two ads after reading TehBorken's statement. Remind me to drop more links to DS when I'm browsing DV.
Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry.

I've also clicked a couple today, and plan to continue.  Thanks for letting us know, TehBorken.  If we all pitch in, this might help you break even eventually.
Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped.  They have not forgotten.

Double ditto.....wished I'd have known that sooner.
Sir Isaac Newton invented the swinging door....for the convenience of his cat.
