It's subtle- I can't quite put my finger on it.....

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

The guy on the left - 4th from the bottom - his hat is askew.

I thought it was a handkerchief tied into place with a rubber band.

omg....rofl..rofl..rofl.....weird al, aside from your keen powers of observation....you're hilarious.

It looks to me like they made that aircraft out of giant screwdrivers.....and....some other stuff.[/DIV]

 Nope, you're all wrong.

The Incom T-65 [a href="vny!://www.starwars.com/databank/starship/xwing/"]X-wing starfighter[/a] didn't have the coaxially-mounted warp-drive pods on top of the thrusters until the "C" model. This one is obviously the "B" model, so the picture is blatantly faked.

The other dead giveaway is that there were no X-wing fighters in World War II. lol

But of course.  I don't know why I didn't pick up on that.

What about that picture tells us it was from WWII ?  (history has never been my strong point)

Mostly the clothing, but the fairly antiquated carrier deck and rigging are good indicators too.
