The EETimes is reporting that Hitachi has a breakthrough in RFIDtechnology that they are planning to show at this years ISSCC(International Solid-State Circuits Conference). The [a href="http://www.eetimes.com/news/design/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=179100286"]new RFID chip[/a]is their thinnest yet, measuring in at only 7.5 microns thick. That's about ten times thinner than a sheet of paper.
[hr style="width: 100%; height: 2px;"]Expect to have these suckers slipped into everything you buy, wear, read, or handle.    Perfect for covertly tagging dissdents, demonstrators, "terrorists", or anyone that dares to complain about practically anything.
