If a 757 were placed on the ground on its engine nacelles (i..e., gear retracted as in flight profile), its nose would be almost 20 feet above the ground.

Ergo, for the aircraft to impact the ground floor of the Pentagon, Hanjour would have needed to have flown in with the engines buried 10-feet deep in the Pentagon lawn. Some pilot!

Hay, I haven't read the rest of this thread, and I'm not terribly knowledgeable about the pentagon strike, but couldn't the fuselage have hit the first floor if the plane was on a slight downward angle and hit just in front of the building first, snapping off the wings (and wing-based turbines)? Just a thought.
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

I am pretty damn, (can I say damn?), sure Stephen Harper had something to do with it!!!
