Liberals and Conservatives almost even in new poll

  Interesting. Tories are falling like a stack of bricks and the Liberals don't even have a leader. Looks and smells like 1979 all over again for the tories.

  So since Canadian minority governments usually only last 18 months (which means a summer election next year) who do you like out of the Liberals leadership race?

i wonder how much of the drop is due to the fact that more and more canadians are dying in afganistan.

  obviously this poll was done before today, but we just lost 4 more soldiers in combat.

With the supposed "win" in Mexico, that puts conservatives in charge of North America. Lets hope it doesn't last.
...religion has made some contributions to civilization. It helped in the early days to fix the calendar, and it caused Egyptian priests to chronicle ecplipses with such care that in time they were able to predict them. These two services I am prepared to acknowledge, but I do not know of any others
