On the Today show each year they have one couple getting married on the show. When I flipped on the tv, the first thing I said was "I bet all the couples are white with one black couple" (this sadly is the usual norm) and what happend? The first couple shown is inter racial the girl is black and the guy is white and they live in Richmond Virginia of all places. I about crapped my pants in disbelief that in america they had mixed race couples on tv. I know this comes to a shock to some of you Canadians but usually its a white world down here.

Anyway and especially a black/white couple is really rare because the stupid common belief is that if they have kids the kids will become ''black'' because their white side of the family and culture won't except them. Like Tiger Woods for example. He's mostly asian but does society call him an asian american? No. They call him an african american.

Anyway good to see real america represented in the mixed race couple.

 These people will win why? I have no idea but usually its always the southern couple that wins. Mostly because southerners have nothing better to do. see American Idol.

yep. Its a popularity contest. Then the public picks everything about the wedding. From the gown to the ring to cake.
