I sort of know what you mean about the hassel. I'd love a dog, but I know I don't have the time to give a dog what it needs....so I remain dogless. Now a cat on the other hand, is far less demanding of your time.

Yeah, I'd so love a dog too. But its cruel to keep a dog locked up for so many hours, and that is what I'd have to do. So I have no dog, as much as I love them.

Nope. I've been letting the weeds go rampant.
Ah, with one exception.
I had my favorite pot of perriwinkle set under a table outside on which I had resting a bowl of bird seed for the crows. Said crows went buck wild and spilled the seed everywhere. Now I have little shoots popping up among my perriwinkle every day which have to be massacred at every opportunity.
Bloody crows. I love them to death.
