no,they were not "basically NDP'ers". they were centre to centre left.

  what's works in sweden and other social democracies in northern europe may not suit canada and it's unique needs and economy.

  the european social model isn't something to be held so high in regard,above all else as though it were the final evolution of the human political experience/process.

  it has bankrupted france and has caused a decline in french standards or living and economic performance.

  it has slowed germany down to a snails pace with economic activity waining.

  russia has choosen to not follow the social democratic model,wonder why?

  the UK is increasingly leaving the so called third way.
