All I can say is that these people are f*cking nutcases.

These folks are as happy as can be that Israel and Hezbollah are fighting because that means they're one step closer to the Rapture. If those nutcases are so anxious to get to heaven at the earliest possible time, why don't they just put plastic bags over their heads and get going?  Why are they so anxious to see the rest of us go with them?  Are they planning to do a head count at the Pearly Gates to see who made it and who didn't?

Because they have no hope to begin with so the people look for answers and boom they go to the crazy guy down the street.

  Its a mix of nazism when they blamed everything on the jews and a mix of medival christianity where the church ruled everything and scared the crap out of you if you said for instance the world was round. Wait the church still does that, oops my bad.

Religion especially the Roman Catholic faith is comical.

First they have an old guy telling you how to live your life.

If you birth rates are low he'll complain and say its the devil. And this is coming from a guy who took a vow of celebacy. If he so worried about birth populations why doesn't he start knocking up the nuns. (I doubt he'd know what to do anyway)

And overall a day in the church is like a year

Everytime these idiots shoot off there mouth the more and more main line normal religious folk like myself drift further and further away from religion all together. I've been on this path for 2 years now. Tired of the constant crap. Even if it doesn't affect my church it affects how I'm viewed by the world. I'm not a sheep.  The more and more people say crazy things in the name of God the more I'm becoming agnostic.  I don't care anymore.  These idiots have basically created me.

  I wouldn't be the person I am today if I didn't go to hell and back because of these fools. Everytime I see religion mixing with politics here (which happens either every week with some kind of reminder of the pro-life movement) or every 2 years where politicians don't run on anything but abortion and win easily yet they do nothing in congress except evoc the name of Jesus the more they push me further left.

  In the span of 8 years I've gone from a super moderate republican (don't ask I was confused) to a centrist to a democrat, to a 'midwest liberal' (aka a B. Clinton type) to a west coast liberal then I really went off the deep end according to the conservative media. I became a quasi socialist. Now I adhere to social democracy longing for change in this country. I found my conscience when I went over to the 'other side'.  If I say what I am in public I'd be branded a communist. Even though Bush's buddy is a social democrat (well not really 'new labour' is like the 'new conservative').  Its going to stop at social democracy for me because I don't believe in facism or ultra nationalism so I'm not the next Hugo, don't worry.

  But my little journey was a reaction towards the hard line conservative movement in my state. I who I am because of what I've been through.  Couldn't be happier I came out of the desert after 40 days and 40 nights a new person.

      Edit: My Uncle would go crazy (probly ban me from the farm or never talk to my mother again) if I said I believed in this:

  I'm not ready to say that just yet. When I get my credibility back SD is going cause a earthquake in S. Illinois.  Not ready to disown my family just yet. Because if I said I believe in a democratic form of socialism they'd never would want to speak to me again.  To bad.  They'd have a hissy fit anyway if I said what I truely said about them, (they're basically fraud's living a giant lie).  I'll show them. Nobody believes me and thats just the way I like it. Oh he's talking hot air again. Laugh all you want idiots, make fun of me because I'm differnt and apparently never will amount to anything because guess what, I am fools and you are going to regret everything you ever said about me. Its on, I will not let you win....
