  Heya purelife. Is your hairdresser good? I'm actually looking for one. It's so hard to find a good hairdresser these days.

  You can always get them gift certificates from Metrotown Mall. The certificates will entitle them to shop anywhere in Metrotown Mall. Just go up to the Service Desk and ask. Or lottery tickets - they're a good option.

Lotto tickets.  Great idea.  Ok, I'll check into the wine charms and if I can't find any, then lotto tickets and an appreciation card.  

  He's really really good.  He's located in North Vancouver though.  I've recommended my friend to him who has similiar hair style/cut as yours and she loves him as well.  He is the most friendly hair dresser and the sweetest.    I actually got referred to him by someone who posted on DV back in the days.

  Oh my.... he's all the way in North Vancouver? Dang. We had a wonderful hairdresser but she's all the way in NV so we decided we couldn't see her any more. Too far. *sigh* Oh well.

  I'm looking for one that's close to where we are. So hard to find one. I might just go to the Crystal Mall one of these days and check them out.

Has anyone thought about lunch yet?

  My mom gave me this thing that she made...sticky rice with meat/peas wrapped in green seaweed leafy thingee.....  I can't wait to eat it... yummy.  It's too bad that she didn't make too many this year.

Yeah, it can be tough to find a good hairdresser that is convenient and good.  I actually go into his home in downtown, so it's verrrry convenient for me.

  Hey Lise, do you make scallop potatoes?  I would love a good recipe.  I've never attempted to make them but have always wanted to.

No, sorry, purelife. I think that's PC's department. The only scallop potatoes that I've made comes out from a packet.

  Shouldn't be too hard though. I think all you need are spuds, cream, herbs and olive oil but do check with PC.
