Oh wow.... this thread is moving at a snail's pace. Where's everyone?

  Anyone caught the closing ceremony at the Olympics? London's performance was soooo blah compared to what the Chinese put out. What's the big deal with Beckham being on the bus? It's like saying, 'he's the most important star, nevermind the rest of the atheletes.' Sheesh.

I am envious too - of your computer which is evidently working about 20 times faster than mine. In fact if it doesn't speed up soon, I'm off for a while.

Hey everyone!  Had a fantastic weekend at Gold Creek, Golden Ears Park.  Family n friends, 8 kids in our group, lotsa BBQ and bevvies, and a fried turkey.
 
 Somehow dumped my drink all over myself from a sitting position yesterday afternoon.   Vodka and Five Alive  in the eyes, up the nose,  all over my shirt....Ooops.
 
 Woke up to torrential rain this am (wet tarps and tents).  Then I accidently drove home with the ski box open (wet everything else).   Ooops.
