There are a lot of tourists, and locals, who would have planned to go to Whistler. They still have money, time off and are looking for something to do.

Oh gawd, Michel! Good luck if you're heading to the island this long weekend. We intend to stay close to home where there we won't be fighting any crowds.

As for this BC long weekend, I wanna go watch The Dark Knight. MUST watch Christian Bale's muscles rip across the screen. *sigh*

It sounds like you have a fun trip ahead of you, Michel. I like long weekends! I can't wait! We need more long weekends.

Lunch was sushi again...yam tempura and california roll. I'm gonna keep eating it until I get super tired of it... yep yep, that's my goal.

It doesn't make me sick. It tastes yummy to me. I like this sushi place. I had someone critique the sushi and she said that the rice is plain but it's ok. I don't know the difference.

Well, whatever you do Michel, it sounds like a fantabulous outing. I sure wish we get some kinda good weather so we can all enjoy the long weekend.

Got some new clothes from my mother. She practically gave her entire closet to this poor visitor from Australia to bring to me. I was mortified when I saw how much this poor woman had to bring from the airport. Well, at least I've got some clothes and a couple of handbags. No complains there.
