I feel the same way about SUVs, although I'm interested to see what they do with the concept of small hybrid SUVs.

I was planning to get a light truck, since I will likely be doing some landscaping work in the future, but the truck I wanted (a Toyota Tacoma) actually gets mileage around 20 MPG or slightly worse. So now I'm thinking of a disel Jetta or something similar with the bio-diesel kit.
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

When I use it, I have a lot of things that have to come along with me.

that is the frist reason I am getting rid of the car.

I am not a fan of the environmental impact that SUVs have, but I also hate taking two or three trips in a small car...

I am thinking the VW Golf diesel. I had a 4runner before I had my Passat. It was powerful and all, but how much power do I need to get to the mountains and back on weekends? I am not into 4x4ing and destroying clean mountain meadows. I am not crazy about my Passat either. Its kind of a waste if you ask me. I walk to work. At work I keep my work truck locked up. I only use it for site visits.

I don't know...I am so confused! Good luck kits with the car situation!
