Speaking of transportation, has anyone tried ZipCars?

ADD:  Lil Me - got a Q for you.  I can't remember what you said you paid for tkd but is $100 a month reasonable?  There is one near my place that offers a deal where there's free uniform and 6 weeks for $100.  After that, you still have to pay $100 a month but second family member gets 20% off.

It's too expensive for me, so I can't get into it... me sad... :(

Sportsdude

nope but i like the idea of it. brilliant

Wow, I didn't mean to make you cry purelife, now I feel bad! LOL! not really though...

Actually I have couple different jobs. I am my own drafting consultant and contract with different engineerting and advertising firms. I also work with different youth groups and get kids involved with bikes, skateboarding, snowboarding, camping, health. I prefer extreme sports over team sports. I eventually want to live in the forest with nothing but a cool breeze off of a lake for a neighbour. My truck is for trying to get out of town on weekends, but I work a lot of weekends too.

OK, your turn purelife! or anyone else.

Lil Me

I'm a part owner in an enviro consulting business.
I manage the financials and do some documentation, permits, reports, etc.  My partner does field work.

I had a screaming deal for a while, because I was the 3rd member of the family (at 50% off) but Heckyl and Jeckyl have quit for a bit, so I'm paying more...about $85 a month.  That's with the discount for prepayment.

Not sure which martial arts are near you, but I know some Masters teach out of community centres and school gyms.  They are cheaper.  Same goes for yoga and pilates classes.
