That happened to me once or twice in the past!  Right in mid post too!  I always keep that in mind if someone all of a sudden 'disappears' from the board...  Sometimes there's a reason that's beyond their control...

Morning everyone. Off to drop Lise Jr. a second time to preschool. Here's hoping she'll last for more than an hour. Hehe.

  Awaiting my phone call from my boss today. Kinda scary... don't really want to hear the results of the phone call. On one hand I'm looking forward to hearing that yeah, they want me back at work and on the other hand, I don't really want to go back to work. Argh! Mixed emotions.

  I hope it works out the way you're hoping Lise.  Did you read the stuff about and employers responsibilites concerning Mat leave ?  I'll put the link....it's a way back.

Yeah, I've seen the posts, thanks PC.

  Problem is, they can't find me a position (or something similar) in my case because there's only one employer (eg. dentist) and one receptionist and one CDA. All in all, there's only three of us. I do agree that they should have gotten a part time CDA but it's so hard to find one that is willing to work two days/week.

  Ah well. Que sera sera. I'll just work there for a bit, get my sea-legs so to speak then perhaps find something else. Kinda ironic since I've been saying this for the last 5 years or so.

He should have prepared the current CDA that the job was only a temporary Mat Leave fill in.  He is obligated to let her go.  (2 days a week sounds good to me.....lol)

  A bigger practise might have more room for flexiblity.

  Wow, Ms wyk, you're really onto SD, huh?  ;)

  Lise, I know that you'll be able to find something else, something more convenient and closer to home.  I know you can girl. :)))  Change is always good and always works out for the better.  I started out at a shitty entry level job years back, but change brought me to my current job making way more money.  I never quit my past jobs but they had either ended my contact or laid me off.  And because of that, I was forced to look for other work and voila, found the best one!  So, I KNOW that you can and will Lise.

Supposed to go hiking with a colleague, fdon't knoe<w where, I didn't pay attention, but it's far and need a 4 x 4 to get to he trial. chris i's gonna be hard, I use to go to bed at 2 now and we're supposed t leave at 6.

Hey we don't have a thread what's for breakfast, never mind DSers, you gonna read about it anyway. Babies coffee crisp, Reese and Kit Kat with jasmine tea.
