Isn't that the best.  That works for me too....although I don't do that very often either.  The last time I was at a theatre, the buffoons behind us gave a running monologue of everything that was going to happen.....and treated us all to the ending of the movie before intermission.

intermission? what? Who has intermissions now, lol.

I already told you it was a LONG TIME AGO wise guy.

hehehe. Last movie I've known of with an intermission was Titanic. Wasn't allowed to see that movie because of the 'nude' scene. lol And my dad was a pot smoker in high school/college.

Lise

Nope. They never asked for license plate but I gave it to them anyways, plus the make and color of the car. Anyways, like Russ said, it's probably not stolen or else they would have towed it away already. I'll keep you guys posted.

Sushi, Russ? I quite like Fish on Rice for All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet. Good stuff but there's Yakko or Sushi Garden on Kingsway that's not too shabby.

I'm the same with you on movies there, 49er. I can't stand being in the dark theatre with loud noises and whatever going on. You don't even know what goes on the seats. But hubby likes it so he keeps dragging me there. Each time I go in, I end up with a massive headache afterwards. Too much stimulus.[/DIV]

lol. Well I like european films so I go to those art house places and nobody talks in those. They're either movie buffs or film students.

I wish they bring back the movie drive-ins.........at least there you get to watch in the comfort of your car

Lise

Don't they have a lot of those movie drive-ins where you are, 49er? We don't have many here... the ones that exists are all the waaaaay out in the "outback" (as they say in Aussie slang). In nowhere man's land.

I've never experienced drive-in movies before. Before my time. *snicker snicker*

they've got a drive in here out in the boonies. Nobody goes.

49er

all the movie drive-ins closed many years ago here in the Bay Area.  All we have now are minimum 16 cinema complexes at shopping malls

Sportsdude

I hate the multi complexes. So boring. I like the old theatres. There's these two great ones in my area that are circa 1960. You are like walking back in time. Its soo much fun to go to those.

If I have to see a movie out, I like the SilverCity theatres (or tinseltown) with the stadium seating and great sound.  Otherwise, I'd rather stay home and watch with full sound and subtitles on also.

Hey me too! I live Tinsletown one the best with its nice plushy seats. I'm just surprised the prices for going there has gone up by quite a bit. Rip-off.

Anyone remember the Dolphin Movie Theatres? Back when it was only $2.00 to go watch a movie? Right now they're charging $8 to sit in a crappy theatre with bad seats. What a riot.

Russ

Morning DS!

We went and watched the latest bourne movie. It was pretty good! It almost looks like there could be another one still, lol.

I ate lots of little Nemo's last night! Went to one along Terminal across from the Flea Market, Asiana Sushi.

Well, another day of running around. Does anyone know where exactly in Richmond you go to get your phone unlocked?

Hey Russ, how was Asiana? Any good?
