Evening.. sorry only in for a few then off to the Blarney Stone as a buddy;s band is playing there.

  Yes I have pictures of some of the fish... Even have one of the 53 pound that the guy in the other boat caught... I havent made it to the developing place.. so sometime saturday now I will post em up. I also have some of a random guy we saw that managed to catch 8 halibit in little over 45 minutes the first day he was up there off of Pine Island.

  EDIT: Lise. like what PC said. Seal it with a sealant like sikaflex and use vapour barrior as a wrap around. Cement slab is the bestest for them.

 Back from a long day.  Funeral (mom's cousin, age 71, had cancer for 7 years), took Heckyl and Jeckyl bike riding at Kits beach, then sushi.
 
 purelife- the pumpernickel bread is usually in the deli section of the store.  It's at the Stupidstore on the same shelf as the Pita breads, pizza shells, etc.  I avoid the carraway seed varieties (don't like the taste).
 
 Ingrown toenail: I've had a few.  Soak it in warm salt water, apply some peroxide and a dab of Polysporin.  They hurt!  But the swelling goes down fast once the infection is under control.  You can start "trimming" thepoky part of the nail away with nail clippers, but it hurts.

Thanks, SD.  She had a very full life and developed an interest in spirituality in the last few years.  She was at peace.

What's the United Church of Canada like?

United Church is the liberal denomination around here.  There are lots of them.
 
 You will find that most churches in Canada are not very political, like they are in the U.S.  People are more personal about their political and spiritual choices.  (I go to an Alliance church, one of the local area mega-churches and there are people of all political stripes there.)

 Christian and Missionary Alliance?

ah well I've been a bit scarred pretty badly because of my political views in relation to church politics here. Parents want me to go to church in Nanaimo. I figure it would be a good way to connect with people. Funny I can't escape the Missouri Synod their canadian equivalent is down the street from the school. lol Not going anywhere near that place.

  Well I think I'm done for the night.  I'm still whining about my achey muscles......lol.  BUT.....we have our whole winter supply of wood put up......split and stacked.  5 cords total.  We're usually still slugging away at this at the end of September.....sometimes even October.  It's a good feeling.
