Au contraire, mon frere.  Lacrosse is Canada's other official sport.  Box lacrosse is also called the "fastest game on two feet".  Both Lil Me kids play.
 
 And Russ,  you know me well enough to know that I don't do anything "dumbed down" for women.

Never played lacross before. Actually, would you believe I've never heard of it before coming here to Canada? Must be a Canadia sports, eh?

  Just went browsing past my old high school. Was surprised to see some of my old teachers there, some of them were dinosaurs to begin with and now they must be ancient sages. Good times. Am debating if I should join the Old Student Clubs.

  Anyone here keep in touch with their old school mates?

lets just say...growing up here...all the mistakes that you make...are known to all...LOL...gossip central I tell ya.  It feels homey now that I am older.  Kinda like the bar Cheers...where everyone knows your name..

Hi Lise and everyone else! Lacrosse was invented in Canada. It is also popular in parts of the USA too.

  Pitbulla, I think that is what is slowing me down from moving to a small town. As beautiful as BC small towns are, I get really freaked out when I realize everybody knows everyone else's business. I don't know if I would like that too much.

Although, living in a forest, with a lake close by would make me happy.

hiya peeps...hey Devil...the handy thing is...when you meet a few people...the resources are amazing.  You can usually get help..or an answer...anywhere...
bf's jeep broke down on the side of the road...trucker recognized it...and sent help...small town assistance...forever grateful...LOL..the only problem was...someone has hit the gas tank switch with their knee..and it had switched to the empty tank  LOL  as a duh girl...I didn't think to check

  Speaking of old mates, was there anyone from high school you want to meet in person? That someone who made quite an impact on your life? Negative or positive?

  I don't know what I would say had I met those people now...

I haven't thought too much about it.  The peeps that were important in my life..growing up here...are still around...so..by stopping long enough to chat with them when I see them...is showing my gratitude to them

I remember getting bullied in high school because of my ethnicity. The things kids tell you when you're that young... they bite real deep. They don't really go away but they made me stronger. Katrina Thomas. That was her name. And her whole gang of girls that went with her. Blonde and mean, really mean. She once spit on a friend of mine simply because she was her way.

  Funny though. She and I have crossed paths when we were in high school but as we got into our senior years, we became wary enemies. We don't talk to one another but we understood our boundaries and somewhat respected each other. We were both in art classes and we grudgingly (sp) admired each others' work pieces.

  I would have loved to see her in person and see what she looks like or if she's married or anything.

I had someone make a really mean comment...back in gr 8...had to do with my looks...
seems now...he will go out of his way to talk to me...when I worked with him..on the street...in the bar....yah..in yo face dude!
