Hey thanks for that! I think that's the one I've hearing about. Fresh, clean, etc.

CK

Hi tenkani!

Lunch today, Borscht w/sour cream, and some homemade bread.

tenkani

Ah! I've heard of it but had to look it up!

n.     A beet soup served hot or cold, usually with sour cream.[/TBODY]
Not very descriptive is it? What does it taste like? Please answer in the form of a 500 word essay.

Hallo CK, weird al, MR. S (!!) and whoever else is around!

For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

Seems like it to me.
"I used to rock and roll all night and party every day, then it was every other day.  Now I'm lucky if I can find half an hour a week in which to get funky."

"Any particularly good sushi joints there?"

Hallo CK, weird al, MR. S (!!) and whoever else is around!

Good borscht is made by old Ukrainian or Polish women.

It's taste is....beet soup. The sour cream is for more flavour and creaminess.

The description doesn't really convey the beauty of this stuff. Rich, deep red flavor, cut with the tang of the sour cream. Hot is the only way I can picture having it.

CK

Couldn't explain it better than Weird Al. I have an older Russian lady for a neighbor a few doors down. I have been shoveling her walk to lend her a hand. She gave me some homade bortsch as a thank you. [/DIV]yes, it has to be hot. there is also a touch of dill in it. A must have with it, is homemade fresh bread.

Did you make the bread CK ???
Sir Isaac Newton invented the swinging door....for the convenience of his cat.

CK

Yes I made it, but I cheated. It was done in a breadmaker.

Did that JUST happen or did you JUST notice it ?  There just doesn't appear to be any 'smiters' online. There seems to be a drive by smiter.

I said 500 words, BITCH!

Yup, and the best suits are hand-sewn by Italian widows listening to Verdi.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.
