Morning!

What a night! Spent the entire evening watching Rear Window again with hubby. Excellent movie. We're all Hitchcock fans right now. For reasons unknown to me, I think James Stewart is downright sexxxxy.

Morning Lise.

I've never seen that movie.  What's it about?

Are you planning to watch 300?  We're thinking of watching it tonight but when I read the reviews, it mentioned that scenes were just fill of slitting and blood.

Lise

Rear Window is about a photographer (Stewart) who's confined to a wheelchair due to a broken leg. As he has all the time in the world, he becomes a peeping tom so he watches from his apartment into his neighbors' lives. Trouble is, one of them starts to behave rather suspciously and before you know it, he starting to smell murder.

Definitely go watch this one. I borrowed it from the Burnaby Library so it's free.

Yes, going to watch 300. Possibly this weekend but am not sure which days. I'm going to watch it with a bunch of friends. It's graphic.... pretty violent. If you've seen Sin City, it's kinda like that. If you're not a fan of Frank Miller's work, chances are you won't enjoy it.

Hmm, then it's probably not my kind of movie.  It sounds interesting though.  Is it all about fighting or is there a story behind it?  Now, I've got to convince my guy to watch something else...

Lise

There's an older version of the movie called 300 Spartans which tells the story of 300 Spartan warriors going against over a million Assyrian (???) warriors. I won't tell you how it ends but the movie's basically the same, about a handful of warrior who stood against the odds. I love movies like these.

Plus I wouldn't want to miss out on a chance at oggling men in skippy loincloths.

Here's a clip from the movie if you're dying to know what it's like.

Good morning Lise and purelife

That's funny Lise.....I've always been a fan of Jimmy Stewarts too.  He used to write the most beautiful poetry.  I remember SOOOOO long ago, seeing him on Carson, and he actualy brought tears to Johnny Carsons eyes when he read one of his poems.
