Yesw, but somehow I never seem to think of these things until I get back inside and have to change my clothes for the umpteenth time in a couple of hours.

What about a rain poncho you can keep by the door and throw over your shoulders when you go out?

NOTHING could obscure it!

I should have realized!  Does it come in handy as a reading lamp at night?

Ah, so that's why I never have to turn the light on

Saves a bundle on electricity, doesn't it?

Just a small tarnished one.  Sometimes it pinches.

Maybe someone will give you a new one for Christmas (if you ask nicely).

I think the office is closed for the duration of my lifetime.

I hope that will be for a very long time indeed.

Big news, it's stopped raining, the sun's come out and I've just dashed into the garden and back to see what's going on there.

So what was going on in the garden?  And does it function on its own when you leave, or is someone going to take care of it for you?
